Resignation

The child sees reflected in the death of an innocent bird,
(whose blood it splattered, through no fault of it own)
It’s own eventual crucifixion,
As the eternal scrifice to man’s awakening,
And the birth of the Christ within.

Mankind sees refected in the death of the innocent,
It’s own savage nature and the rejection of the god within.

To each is given the task:
Face the abyss and eject the dark.
And so,
Like the rising sun,
The promise of afterlife is won.
Or else, in hell we stay,
Untill that final day.

I accept and I love.
